Job Description:
Digital Seattle is seeking a highly motivated and experienced computer support technician with superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Help Desk - Providing Clients with telephone, remote and on-site technical support
  • PC Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting (Win XP/Vista)
  • Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting and Monitoring of Clients' BackUp systems (Symantec BackUp Exec and Acronis True Image)
  • Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting and Monitoring of Clients' AntiVirus software (Symantec, Trend Micro, McAfee)
  • Assist in Installation and Configuration of MS Win 2003/2008, MS Exchange 2003/2007 and MS SBS 2003/2008 Servers
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Monitoring of Client System logs and activity reports on all Client Servers
  • Provide basic troubleshooting of Connectivity issues for Cisco PIX and Cisco ASA firewalls
  • Management and Tracking of Client Hardware/Software Inventory
  • Must be able to respond to network outages, scheduled installations, and maintenance activities during off-hours.
  • 24x7support may be required on a rotating, scheduled basis

Qualifications:

  • Strong Windows XP/2003/Vista OS and Computer Support/Configuration skills
  • Minimum 3+ years installation, configuration and support of MS Win 2003/2008 Servers
  • Minimum 3+ years installation, configuration and support Symantec BackUp Exec
  • Minimum 3+ years installation, configuration and support Symantec AntiVirus
  • Experience with Connectwise desirable
  • Experience with N-Able desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with positive client- focused outlook and tolerance for high-stress situations

Education/Certifications:

  • Computer or related technical degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge
  • MCP required
  • MCSE, CCNA and Certified A+ desirable
  • Must have a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles
